I went through a fairly compact interview flow that took about two weeks and felt smooth overall. The process started with an assessment and a virtual technical round where the questions were basic but still covered the foundations deeply enough to matter. I dealt with Java and OOP-related questions, and they asked scenario-style prompts where the key was how I approached the problem, not just the final answer.
On top of the core coding and OOP pieces, they also checked whether I understood the bigger picture. I got questions tied to SDLC methodology and Agile, so it wasn’t only about syntax. The scenario questions made the round feel more like they wanted my reasoning process—how I’d structure my answer and what assumptions I’d make—while the Java questions kept it grounded in practical fundamentals.

Difficult Negative Mumbai
I started the Hexaware process in July and initially things moved in a way that sounded promising. I cleared both the assessment and technical rounds, and I was told a client interview would be scheduled. Instead of moving forward with that client step immediately, my background verification was initiated, and I was asked to submit documents.
Later, I was told my position was on hold. When I asked what was happening, I got conflicting information—specifically that no offer had been released because the client interview was still pending, which made me question why my background checks had been started in the first place. The whole process stretched to almost a month, and the updates didn’t feel transparent.

Aptitude & Logical Reasoning
The online assessment includes sections on aptitude, logical reasoning, and technical MCQs, often under strict time constraints. Candidates should prepare for a mix of quantitative questions and basic coding tasks that test their problem-solving speed and accuracy.

Behavioral & HR Rounds
The HR interviews focus on cultural fit and personal background, with questions about strengths, weaknesses, and motivations for joining the company. These rounds are generally perceived as less challenging compared to the technical evaluations.
