I found the Hexaware interview process to be extremely lengthy and very crowded. When I went in, the number of people arriving for the interview was around 300+, and the whole experience felt like it was designed for a large batch rather than careful one-on-one evaluation. They ran multiple technical rounds—about two or three—with each lasting roughly an hour, plus a managerial round.
The biggest thing I felt was how much patience it required. If I didn’t have the ability to sit through delays and wait for my turn, the process itself would’ve worn me down before the interviews even started in a meaningful way.

Average Positive McLean, VA
After a recruiter reached out and asked basics about my skills and experience, I was scheduled for an AI-powered interview. The format was conversational but structured: it started with basic questions drawn from my resume and then probed deeper based on my answers. When I finished, the process moved toward a standard technical-plus-HR path.
I also had an initial group discussion phase where I spoke with an interviewer briefly about my resume and career interests, focused on the kind of projects I’d worked on and what I was aiming for next. Later, a technical interview followed with an HR round after it. The technical questions were tied to whatever I’d listed—there were topics like SQL, fundamentals around concepts such as abstraction and encapsulation, plus simple programming exposure and even references to certifications. It felt manageable overall, like they were trying to map my background to the exact skill set they needed.
