I applied online and a few days later I got an email to use a virtual scheduler. The morning of the interview, the interviewer told me he didn’t actually know about any interview that day, and he was going to hand me off to the GM. While I was waiting, there was also another person there on their first day who said nobody had told him where to go or what to do.
After that, the interviewer had both of us get into a car and drove us to a different office location, which felt odd from the start. We ended up in a conference room and I could hear that the office itself wasn’t set up well—someone had microwaved seafood, and the whole place smelled awful even at 8:30 in the morning. I sat there in the dark for about ten minutes before I left and had to walk all the way back to the original location.
