After my recruiter stage, I ended up going through a fairly standard, but tough, four-round flow. I first got an online assessment with LeetCode-style questions, then I had a DSA-focused round to push my problem-solving. The next step was system design, where I had to think about scalable architecture and explain how the pieces would fit together. Finally, there was an HR discussion centered on communication, behavioral questions, and cultural fit.
Overall it felt difficult, and it was the kind of process where each round raised the bar. I didn’t end up with an offer, but the structure made it clear what they valued: strong fundamentals first, then the ability to reason about design choices, and finally how I presented myself and communicated through uncertainty. My biggest takeaway was that even if you can solve problems, you still have to be articulate about tradeoffs when the questions shift from coding to architecture.
