My first contact started with a recruiter who nudged me forward through multiple steps before things unexpectedly stopped. I agreed after a string of emails and got an invite for an intro call, but the call got cancelled suddenly. I was rejected without even going through the interview, and the reason was that the role was already filled.

Later, I experienced another process that also abruptly ended without explanation. I was in a late stage where I had catch-ups with the hiring manager and a peer connect, and I was supposed to continue into demo prep and a panel interview. Then the whole thing was suspended before the demo with no clear reason given.
