My process started with a recruiter round, and then I was given a take-home assignment. They didn’t give a rigid deadline, but it felt like I had roughly a week to work through it. After I submitted, I moved into the final stage, which was four interviews back-to-back.

Those interviews dug into tradeoffs and the reasons behind the way I built the feature they wanted, and the last part was a working session where I ended up discussing my submission. By the time I got to that final working conversation, I was exhausted to the point that I barely remembered the exact questions.
