The process felt surprisingly smooth from the start. After the initial recruiter touchpoint, I had conversations that felt friendly and low-stress, and the interviewer’s tone stayed upbeat throughout. On top of that, a director walked me through what the company does and then zoomed in on the job scope in a fairly detailed way, which made the whole thing feel more guided than interrogational.
In my timeline, the technical part leaned toward an online coding assessment (Codility) along with Java basics. The environment felt well set up, and I never felt like the questions were trying to corner me. Even though I wasn’t trying to guess what they wanted, the structure made it easy to stay focused on the tasks in front of me.

Difficult Negative Bengaluru
I applied through a referral and didn’t hear anything until a couple of months later. After that call, I ended up with two in-person technical rounds on the same day at the Bengaluru office. The first round was with a senior developer and it felt less like a typical DSA grind and more like pair programming—my task was to implement a card game in Java. The interviewer was collaborative and would nudge me with guidance when I got stuck, and I managed to build most of the required functionality during the session.
The second round shifted to my background. Two interviewers asked me to clone one of my own projects onto their system and then implement a new feature on the spot. We also talked through technical questions tied to what I built and covered core concepts behind it. Overall it was very hands-on and practical, but the expectation felt high—I was pushed to demonstrate deep understanding of the concepts even though the role was framed as more junior.
