My process ended up being long and drawn out, taking about 6 to 8 months overall, and it included around six interviews plus several assessments. It didn’t feel like a quick screening pipeline—it was more like a sustained sequence of evaluations.

What helped me get through it was that each round included feedback from my recruiter. After each stage, I was told where I was performing well and what they wanted me to improve, so I wasn’t totally guessing what they cared about.

My interview timeline ended up being long and pretty intense—especially once the live rounds started. I first worked through an online coding test where Guidewire provided multiple question sets, including backend and front-end style problems, and I remember the emphasis on writing correct solutions rather than anything superficial. After the coding part, the process escalated quickly into consecutive technical interviews.

I ended up with several rounds back to back, each about half an hour, combining technical and experience-focused questions. In my case, that stretched into a much larger panel-style day where multiple interviewers asked questions tied to resume and experience, plus situational and behavioral themes. There was even a heavier live coding element that leaned on the idea of completing work in front of interviewers, which made the whole day feel like a marathon.
