Average Negative Budapest

After I applied online, I got a call telling me the first step would be a one-hour online test. I completed it and then emailed back the person who contacted me. The waiting period was the unpleasant part: after two or three days with no news, I went back to their site and saw the job posting had disappeared even though it was only a day old when I applied.

I reached out to the recruiter and then heard nothing at all. It left a sour impression because I had already spent an hour on their test, and I felt like there was no courtesy in removing the listing without notifying anyone.

Average Positive Karlsruhe, Baden-Wurttemberg

My process started with a recruiter meeting that felt genuinely transparent and easy to follow. After that, I had an hour-long conversation with a senior development manager where I did live coding focused on practical data structures and algorithms—things that seemed relevant to the day-to-day work.

Then I completed a take-home coding challenge where I built a simple to-do app. After submitting it, I met with a peer senior development manager and also a developer in a shorter follow-up discussion that lasted around thirty minutes.
