My process kicked off with a call where two managers handled the interview. It felt like they were working from a set list of questions and just moving through them, while occasionally stepping out into side chatter like grabbing coffee. The technical questioning was light, and what stood out more than anything was a weird “twenty questions” style game.

They chose an item you could buy at a big box store and I had to ask questions to figure it out. The interview didn’t feel like it was designed to probe deep engineering skills, and it came across as very easy overall. Even with that playful format, the managers still followed through to a decision quickly and I was offered the job the next day.
