Average Negative Dallas, TX

I had an initial conversation with the hiring manager who laid out the process and explained what the next steps would be. After that, I moved into a coding interview with an engineer.

The coding question didn’t feel medium—it came across easier than I expected, and I couldn’t tell exactly what they were trying to evaluate. It also felt like it could be solved cleanly by any LLM, so my best guess was that they cared more about the thinking process and how I explained my approach than the difficulty of the output itself.

Difficult Positive United States

My Superday consisted of two separate 45-minute interviews. I was warned to expect a mix of math and probability topics, along with an algorithm question. Communication was emphasized too, so it wasn’t only about getting to the right answer—it was also about how I talked through the steps.

Even though it sounded broad, it felt pretty straightforward in intent: probability reasoning plus algorithmic thinking, delivered with clear explanations. I didn’t receive an offer, and what I’d reflect on afterward was that the math/probability portion rewards calm clarity; if I got too focused on solving quickly, I risked losing precision in my explanation.
