My interview journey felt very DSA-heavy and tightly focused on algorithm fundamentals. After an initial recruiter interaction, I was pulled into a technical sequence where the questions were resume-based, but the actual problem-solving was very much the center of gravity. I ended up getting grilled on topics like graphs, binary search, and even a question tied to generating or reasoning about a LinkedIn-style list.
What surprised me was the pacing and style in the technical screen. One of the engineers gave me space to work things out on my own and kept the bar that I should actively communicate my thought process rather than just stay quiet and code. The overall difficulty felt high, and the interviews leaned on both correctness and clarity while solving.

Average Negative Pune
My experience felt a bit off-target from the start. I had an interview path that included an OA, then a technical interview, and finally an HR conversation. The technical round was surprisingly informal and didn’t really test what I was expecting for a software engineering role.
Instead of focusing on engineering fundamentals or coding aligned to the role, I was asked more sales and marketing type questions during the SDE interview. The whole flow left me feeling like they were evaluating something adjacent rather than my ability to do the job described.
