I went through a structured process that leaned heavily into fundamentals across both coding and electronics. After applying, the recruiter stage led into an exam-style first step and then a technical interview. The written portion mixed an aptitude section with a core electronics section covering things like capacitor concepts plus Kirchhoff’s laws (KVL/KCL), and it also included two coding questions. I remember one coding task being tied to a modified Kadane’s algorithm, and the other involving a dynamic programming chessboard / knight movement style problem.
In the technical interview that followed, I started with a self-introduction and a discussion of my projects, then the conversation shifted into a set of coding challenges. They covered array-and-string style problems like building a “mountain array,” plus Two Sum and closely related variants, and they also asked about rotational string-style logic. After that, they pivoted into electronics topics again—digital electronics, digital communication, and sampling theory—so it felt like they were checking that I could connect software problem-solving with actual hardware-adjacent understanding.

Difficult Positive India
My process was intense right away, and it started with online testing that genuinely narrowed the field. First there was an assessment round focused on core knowledge, where they covered topics like pointers, recursion, traversal concepts such as inorder traversal, and time complexity. It felt like they were measuring baseline fundamentals before anything else, and after the initial shortlist—around thirty people moved forward.
In the later coding-focused assessments, I ran into a different kind of difficulty: it was hosted on HackerRank and included a mix of algorithmic problems and coding challenges. One question involved implementing a segment tree for range sum queries, which tested whether I could handle tree-based data structures and efficient querying. Other problems pulled in string manipulation, dynamic programming, and even SQL.
