My process started with an early recruiter-style step and then moved into a fast sequence of interviews. The first round leaned behavioral before transitioning into technical problem solving, and the interviewer style felt polite and professional—just not super relaxed. After that, the technical rounds became more clearly focused on math intuition and precision, with probability and logic-heavy questions that were timed and a bit fast-paced.
There wasn’t much ambiguity about what they were testing: I had to reason through probability and statistics questions and also handle algorithmic-style thinking. In at least one technical discussion, it felt like a mental-math and logic check where they listened closely to how I approached the work, not just the final answer. The whole process took under a few weeks, and the bar felt like it rose as I progressed.

I applied through their online system and heard back relatively quickly with a phone screen. That first conversation leaned heavily into probability and mental math, and the whole vibe felt like they were looking for comfort with quant reasoning early on.
Later, my path expanded into a more extended set of discussions. I met the recruiter after a career fair, and from there they lined up two phone interviews and then an onsite. At the onsite, the interviews started with detailed questions about my research, and then shifted into a mix of brain teasers, statistics, probability, plus algorithmic and programming questions. I remember the interviewers writing in Python while still letting me choose how I answered.
