Recruiter outreach kicked things off quickly, and what stood out first was how straightforward the scheduling and communication felt. I had a recruiter screen and then progressed to a hiring-manager conversation. From there, the final stage was a panel with multiple stakeholders, and the whole flow was compact enough that it never felt like I was drifting without context.
The tone during the interviews was human and professional, not overly performative. People were easy to talk to, and I never had to chase for where I was in the process or what the next step would be. In my case, the interviews also felt genuinely structured and high bar—at the end of the line, I was meeting with sales leadership in Italy and it clearly reflected how serious the company was about evaluating execution.

After the recruiter call, I ended up going through a fairly structured sequence: a conversation with a BDR manager, then a longer panel-style interview that included a live discovery call roleplay, and finally a call with the Head of Business Development. The vibe was professional and I was engaged throughout, but the roleplay was the piece that really determined how the rest of my interviews went.
Even though I showed up prepared and stayed curious, the feedback I received afterward was that I hadn’t fully implemented the coaching during that live discovery call segment. What disappointed me most was the disconnect between what I was being asked to demonstrate and the context I was given—I didn’t have the full product exposure, training, or internal BD strategy that someone already in the role would naturally draw from. I felt like the discovery call was too nuanced to judge fairly under those constraints.
