My process started with an informal conversation with the hiring manager, which felt pretty straightforward and resume-focused. After that recruiter touchpoint, I was given a mechanical technical knowledge test. It wasn’t an open-ended interview so much as a real assessment of technical understanding.

From there, the process shifted into multiple panel rounds drawn from different departments. I remember it as a more structured, higher-effort stage than the early conversations, with the sense that they were cross-checking how I could fit across teams. Overall it felt like a clear four-step journey—talk to the manager, talk to recruiting, take the test, then meet several groups—and by the end I didn’t end up getting an offer.

The interview experience I had felt short, predictable, and oddly anticlimactic. I began with a recruiter-style phone conversation where I answered basic questions tied to my resume. After that, I went into a coding round that took a few hours.

Once the coding part was done, communication just dropped off. I didn’t get any follow-up, no closure, and no standard rejection message. In another round that also ended the same way, the interviews leaned heavily on behavioral prompts—lots of “tell me about a time” style questions—and the interviewers didn’t really seem engaged or interested in pitching the company to me.
