Because I came in through a referral, my final round took place over two days and felt like a longer, deeper assessment. The first segment was purely technical and involved two easy-to-medium LeetCode problems. They were straightforward enough that I solved both quickly, and the interviewer didn’t really emphasize optimization or time-complexity nitpicking. I focused on getting all the required tests to pass.

The system design portion was what really changed the atmosphere. I was asked to design a task management system similar to Jira, and the interviewer asked lots of follow-up questions specifically around reliability and security. I struggled to cover everything they were probing for, and there were some awkward silences where I couldn’t land the details cleanly. Even so, I stayed on the task and got through the main components.
