My interviews felt more conversation-driven than many others I’d heard about, with a clear division between fit and technical knowledge. I began with a friendly HR-style chat that covered my background and qualifications, and it put me at ease before they moved into more job-relevant discussion. After that, there was a structured shift into testing engineering skills and personal details, with time spent talking through job requirements and listening to my feedback.

In the follow-up stages, I experienced a two-round pattern anchored by managers: one round with a reporting manager and another with a department VP. The reporting manager explained what I’d be doing and asked some technical questions, and the VP also probed both technical knowledge and interpersonal signals. In another part of my journey, I saw the same general framing but with two technical rounds: one that stayed more basic on algorithms, networking, and C++-type topics, and a second round that leaned more into the specific role I was applying for.
