After I applied, the process moved fast into an automated assessment. I got a link to an online coding platform where I solved problems directly on their site, and the whole thing felt engaging in the moment. There were also parts that looked multiple-choice, and the way the steps gated into the next round made it feel like you either cleared a threshold quickly or you didn’t.
When I got farther, the later stage shifted into a recorded, reasoning-focused format. One step involved choosing between two AI-generated Python outputs and then correcting and justifying my reasoning, followed by a short video where I explained what I picked and why. That same overall pattern—fast assessment, then a quick explanation recording—repeated across my experience.

My process included a fairly substantial online assignment that went beyond small coding questions. The OA started with basic Python fundamentals, then moved into a refactoring task where I had to take legacy code and restructure it into a more modular, class-based design. I also needed to add validation logic and apply a factory pattern while staying compatible with a predefined testing framework.
The part that stressed me out was the way the time and instructions were handled. I had to move quickly through multiple-choice and coding components, and the time felt too tight to understand what was being asked end-to-end. On top of that, the problem statement didn’t feel fully clear, so I spent extra effort just trying to interpret the expected approach rather than implementing confidently.

What to expect
Distilled from the reports
Initial Screening & Automation
The interview process begins with an automated assessment that includes a coding challenge, often perceived as engaging but sometimes frustrating due to technical issues. Candidates should be prepared for a quick transition from automated tasks to live interviews.
Technical interviews heavily emphasize JavaScript and React, with questions that test both fundamental knowledge and obscure details. Candidates should be ready for live coding and discussions that require clear reasoning and practical understanding.

Communication & Feedback
Candidates frequently report a lack of timely feedback and communication throughout the process, which can lead to frustration and uncertainty about their performance. It's advisable to seek clarity on feedback expectations early on.

Interview Format Variability
The interview format varies significantly, including recorded video responses, live coding sessions, and code review tasks, which can create a disjointed experience. Candidates should be adaptable and prepared for different styles of questioning.

Time Pressure & Task Clarity
Many candidates experience tight time constraints during assessments, often coupled with unclear task instructions, which can hinder performance. It's important to practice time management and seek clarification when instructions are ambiguous.

Overall Process Structure
The overall structure of the interview process is seen as organized but can feel overly automated, leading to a perception of being evaluated on performance rather than genuine engagement. Candidates should prepare for a mix of automated and personal interactions.
