Difficult Positive Netherlands

After a recruiter screening conversation, the process moved through a pretty structured sequence of meetings and then a heavier final step. I spoke with a manager, then did behavioral interviews with team members, and the whole thing eventually built toward an exercise and presentation that I had to deliver in front of a larger group. The behavioral portion felt straightforward and connected to real situations—nothing overly scripted—while the presentation/exercise was the part that actually took real effort.

The case/presentation stage typically came after I had a set amount of prep time, and it was evaluated by multiple people on the panel (sometimes a fairly large headcount). I presented my work and then fielded questions based on my approach and analysis. What stood out was how clearly the recruiters and interviewers kept the flow moving—people were friendly and transparent about what came next, and I also felt like I had support throughout. There were multiple rounds overall, and in one stretch the timeline felt like it dragged just enough to build anticipation, but the experience itself felt organized and professional.

Average Positive Cambridge, MA

I went through what felt like a fairly standard multi-round consultant interview arc: a recruiter screening, then interviews with the hiring manager and other people on the team, and a case study plus presentation component. The process took a few weeks end to end, and I remember it feeling a lot more comfortable than I expected because the interviewers were friendly and made presenting less stressful.

The case study itself was somewhat challenging, but it wasn’t the kind of difficulty that felt unfair or confusing. The presentation portion, by contrast, didn’t feel as brutal as I’d braced for. I was also pulled into behavioral-style questioning that leaned on structured answers, with STAR being the lens they used. In at least one round, the recruiter checked back with me between interviews, which helped keep my nerves under control.
