My experience with FNZ felt less like a clean interview and more like a process that drifted once I’d already done the work. I made it through multiple rounds—technical and HR—and the recruiter even collected documents and reassured me that an offer letter would be released. It looked like things were moving forward.
But after that, communication disappeared. I waited, followed up, and didn’t get the transparency I was expecting, and it started to feel like I was being kept in limbo. Other parts of the process had similar issues: there were times I was left without links or next steps even after a screening call, and there were rounds where recruiters promised feedback that never arrived. In at least one stretch, I ended up feeling like I was being marched through interviews despite signs early on that the decision was already headed the wrong way.

Average Neutral United Kingdom
I went through a fairly short, structured loop that started with a recruiter conversation and then moved into three calls. The screening/first call was where I was assessed, and after that I had a technical interview followed by a cultural fit check. The whole thing felt fast, like they were trying to get the role filled quickly.
In the technical and assessment portions, SQL came up more than once. I remember being asked to think through a SQL question and take time before answering, and the interviewers seemed focused on how I reasoned rather than rushing me into a single response. The later rounds carried a clearer “fit” angle, and I also had the sense that they were checking how I’d match their working style and culture.

Overall Difficulty & Outcome
While the technical rounds can be demanding, candidates often report that the lack of closure and feedback after the process is the most frustrating aspect. Many do not receive offers, which can leave them feeling their efforts were not adequately recognized.
