A recruiter reached out to me after I applied, and it moved quickly. I sent my resume and transcript the next day, then scheduled a call soon after. My first screening day later came together as a pretty standard intro, focused on behavioral questions and getting a read on whether I was comfortable with the role’s ongoing relocation.
That first call felt short and straightforward—about 15 minutes—and it was mostly meant to see how I felt about the work and whether relocation would be a dealbreaker. We also talked through what the role involved at a high level, and they were very explicit about the relocation cadence. I remember them clarifying what support they did and didn’t provide, especially around housing and relocation fees, so there weren’t any surprises.

Easy Positive United States
My process was unusually structured and quick, and it ended up taking about a month end to end. After my initial application early March, I got notified almost immediately and scheduled an HR screen. That first step was basic and mostly behavioral, with heavy attention on whether I could relocate. They clearly wanted STAR-style answers, and it felt like the main goal was assessing how I communicated and whether I was genuinely on board with the role.
A few days later I had a behavioral-focused round that still felt pretty straightforward, but it also included light CS concepts—enough to ask things like how I’d explain OOP to a non-technical person. I stayed focused on crisp examples and a clear story. Then, about two weeks after the behavioral step, I had what felt like the biggest final round: it started with a short chat, then included an IQ-test-like portion, and wrapped up with a technical/behavioral mix. That round was long—around two to three hours—and it felt like the questions were studyable based on what others had seen before, even with the “test” vibe.
