After a recruiter conversation, about a week later I stepped into a video interview that felt more technical than I expected. The format stayed fairly traditional: a behavioral-style opener tied back to my background, followed by a case-like portion where I was asked probability and math questions. Even though it was framed around a real scenario, it still felt like a test of how I reason under pressure rather than just my ability to explain what I’d done before.
Overall it took a few interviews for the process to wrap up—roughly three to four meetings—and the team looked for both qualifications and how well I’d fit the culture. I remember how thoroughly they reviewed my resume, which made the behavioral questions feel grounded. The whole thing landed as more difficult than the typical “chat,” and I left feeling like the case component was the deciding factor, even though I didn’t end up getting an offer.

My interview experience centered on deep technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure and automation rather than general business analyst screening. It was organized into two rounds, and both leaned on how I thought about system design and how deployments actually happen.
I was asked to demonstrate expertise around AWS services and the shape of CI/CD pipelines, including how different components work together across environments. The conversation covered cloud infrastructure design, automation, and implementation of deployment strategies using AWS tooling. They specifically referenced services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and EKS, and I had to talk through pipeline architecture, integration, and deployment best practices.
