Difficult Positive Seattle, WA

My first interaction was a phone screening, and then they moved me into an onsite interview on the same day. I did two rounds back-to-back: the first was technical with senior network support engineers, and the second was with managers. Each round had multiple interviewers, with a couple of people in the mix each time.

The onsite part felt intense because it was compressed—everything happened the same day, and there wasn’t a lot of time to reset between rounds. The technical evaluation focused on my networking skills and how I approached real systems questions.

Average Positive Lowell, MA

I began with a 30-minute technical screening call with a recruiter, and the questions were scripted. After that, I had a full afternoon of interviewing with three managers, followed by an in-depth technical conversation with an escalation engineer.

What made the sequence feel complete was how quickly it moved from general scripted questions into manager-level discussions, and then into a deeper technical evaluation. I didn’t feel like it was just “talk and hope”—the escalation engineer round made the bar feel real.
