My process started with a quick recruiter-style chat where I talked through myself and my resume. It felt brief, and while there was a technical question, it wasn’t coding—more of a check that I actually understood what I was putting on my résumé. Not long after, I was pulled into a second interview that shifted into live coding on the spot, paired with two behavioral questions.
The technical side throughout felt pretty vetting-focused rather than puzzle-heavy. When they asked technical questions, it was mainly to see whether I genuinely knew the tech stack they were using. There wasn’t a whiteboarding setup or a separate coding test in that earlier phase—so I was mostly judged on clarity of my understanding, and then on live coding once the process moved forward.

I went through five interviews that followed a fairly normal pattern—two rounds were coding and three were more general knowledge. The questions didn’t feel especially hard, and for anything that had an objectively correct answer, I got it right. After the interviews finished, I waited about a week and then the recruiter reached back out.
They asked me to block time on my schedule the very next day so they could give me “updates,” and it felt odd because the whole point sounded like status reporting. Two hours after the time they told me to set aside—and after I tried multiple follow-ups by email—I finally found their number from earlier in the process and called. They let the call go to voicemail and then called me back later.
