I went through a pretty tight two-round DSA process. After an initial OA-style round, I had another live virtual meeting round. Both rounds had two coding problems, and the questions were the kind of math-leaning structure you typically see on LeetCode—mostly prime-number thinking and finding divisors. For each problem, I talked through my approach and then implemented it, and I ended up passing all the cases I ran.
What stuck with me most was how similar the shape of the questions felt across rounds: again and again I was working through prime-related logic and divisor-finding rather than anything like full system design or deep behavioral discussion. The experience felt straightforward in terms of format—just problem-solving, coding, and moving on.

Average Positive Gurgaon, Haryana
I went through two rounds for an SDE-2 role, and each one was an hour long. The format was split pretty cleanly: about 40 minutes of technical work and 20 minutes of behavioral conversation.
In the first round, the technical part focused on data structures and algorithms, while the behavioral part required STAR-style responses—structured stories rather than just general commentary. The second round kept the same pattern, with the technical portion shifting to object-oriented programming questions.

Behavioral Interviews
Behavioral rounds typically follow a STAR format, where candidates are evaluated on their past experiences and problem-solving approaches in team settings. Candidates should be ready to discuss their projects, conflict resolution, and motivations, as these discussions can significantly impact the overall evaluation.
