Interviewing at eXalt
What the process looks like, and what eXalt is really testing for.
You will be screened for basic fit first, then you will be tested on role-relevant technical skills, and you will also face multiple “fit to represent the company” style conversations. Across the topics we have, the distinctive emphasis is that UX and project management topics show up as prominently as programming and data skills.
The technical side is anchored in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark, with additional depth signals around data analytics and ML performance KPIs. The process also tests communication and leadership through technical communication, stakeholder management, and project management, plus it includes kata or coding-style assignments and business analysis style work.
From the candidate reports we have, the difficulty distribution is mostly easy and medium, with very few hard and very hard questions. The reported offer rate is 0.0%, so expect a competitive loop where you may need to use every round to prove both technical execution and client-facing communication.
Non-obvious but consistent across the topic set: UX design and project management topics are as prominent as core data and programming topics here, so you should prepare cross-functional storytelling, not only SQL and Python.
