Average Negative Oakland, CA

I went through Everlaw more than once and always hit the same wall. Each time, they’d invite me back because they seemed to like me as a candidate, but the process ended at about the second stage, right when they asked me to write sample outgoing sales messages.

I was willing to put in real work—months if needed—to improve, but they never gave actionable feedback on what wasn’t landing. I even asked repeatedly, and all I got back was basically silence on how to get better. The most frustrating part was that they kept reopening the same role I had already applied to, while I felt ready to grow with them and support a product that actually helps clients.

Easy Neutral Oakland, CA

After applying online, I went through what felt like a straightforward sequence tailored to the Account Executive role. It started with a couple of phone calls to get a feel for whether I would mesh with the team day to day, and then moved into a few emails where the goal was basically to see if I could handle the day-to-day expectations of the work.

Overall, it didn’t feel like a trick process or a heavy gauntlet. The structure was simple and role-focused, and the conversations were geared toward assessing fit and basic competence rather than any surprise format.
