My interview started with skills testing that took a few hours. The assessment had timed sections with math and logic, and then there was a part where I had to learn and work inside a new programming language environment (they used MUMPS in my run). The coding and leetcode-style portion was definitely the toughest part for me, and I could feel that’s what they cared about most.
After the assessment, I had a longer final superday that felt like a live evaluation rather than another test. The early pieces were informational rounds where interviewers explained the role and the software, and I had time to ask questions. Then came a case study where I was given a set of tasks and asked how I would prioritize them. The scenario was designed to see how I handled changes, because they followed up with “what if” questions to throw me off. HR closed the loop in a more conversational way, and I remember being asked standard questions like why Epic and why my major.

My process heavily revolved around the online assessment. It had four sections in a very specific order: a two-minute speed round where I tried to answer as many questions as possible, then a math round where I could take as much time as I needed. After that I had a section where I learned a new programming language and answered questions based on it, and then a programming section with four coding questions where pseudocode was allowed.
I didn’t get far enough to share much beyond that in the process I ran. Overall, it felt like the assessment was clearly the main filter, and the format itself—short burst speed, then longer reasoning and a new language concept—made it feel like they were measuring more than just coding ability.
