After the recruiter call, about a week later I moved into an aptitude-focused screening. It started with basic pen-and-paper style questions aimed at problem-solving and logical reasoning, and it quickly shifted into coding-type prompts to see how I approached writing solutions. The process felt straightforward overall, but it was clear they wanted me to be sharp enough to move on.
Once I cleared that, the next step was the technical round. I sat for a face-to-face technical discussion where the focus was on my projects and core concepts, and the questions tied back to the role’s relevant skills. The panel felt friendly and comfortable, and I was able to explain my thinking instead of just answering in a rushed way.

Difficult Positive Pune
My interview started with a technical focus right away, after a brief introduction. The first technical round leaned heavily into AI/ML-related concepts and included basic SQL queries, and I remember that having ML work in my background helped the conversation flow. The questions weren’t just theoretical—they made me explain how I would approach problems and connect the concepts back to what I’d built.
Then I moved into the HR round. That part was more about how I came across personally and generally checking my fit—questions revolved around my values and background, and they also probed my communication and thinking under discussion. Overall it felt smooth and well-structured, but the technical segment was definitely the center of gravity.
