Early on, I had a single coding round and then quickly moved into four rounds back to back. The questions felt on the easier side overall, but they kept pushing me to justify why I was coding the way I was coding, not just to produce an answer.
Across those coding rounds, I ran into the same kind of core prompt: I had to describe all possible test cases for the code I wrote. It forced me to look closely at edge cases and to explain my understanding of the logic behind the solution, which was more demanding than it sounded. Even though the interview difficulty was described as fairly manageable, the repeated emphasis on thoroughness changed how I thought during the coding sessions.

I started with a recruiter call, then I went straight into a 60-minute coding round on CodeSignal. The interview began with questions about my recent project work, and then I was given a data-structure problem that involved a reporting hierarchy: I had to find all reports two levels below a specific employee, then extend the same idea to handle N levels below. I worked through it on the platform while explaining my approach as I went.
After that first technical screen, I was told there were multiple on-site rounds coming next—specifically a system design interview and three LeetCode-medium coding rounds after the screening step. The way they described the flow made the process feel like it would be more intense than the initial CodeSignal round, and I remember wondering how well my explanation would translate to those later interview styles.
