My process stretched out over weeks and didn’t feel very responsive on the scheduling side, even though the people I spoke with were friendly. I ended up doing two interviews spread across a few weeks, and it took longer than I expected for anyone to get back to me.

The interviews themselves were conversational and focused on broad background rather than tricky unknown material. In the phone round, the questions covered a wide range, but nothing came across as overly difficult—more like they were checking what I already knew and making sure I could speak confidently about it. The interviewers were also supportive and helpful during the conversations.

My Dynetics interview felt pretty straightforward and not overly technical. After scheduling, I went through an interview focused on Agile and some basic design principles. Most of the discussion stayed at that higher level rather than diving deep into coding or specific implementations.

What stood out to me was that the questions seemed more interested in how I thought and how I’d approach learning than in whether I already had every detail memorized. I ended up feeling like they were giving me a chance to demonstrate I had solid fundamentals and the right mindset for the role, even though the technical portion didn’t go very far.
