I started with a timed online math and probability assessment, with questions that felt genuinely hard and had a strict time limit. I remember getting the sense that it was more about quickly navigating the mechanics of probability than anything else, and when I didn’t make it through that stage, the process basically ended there.
Later, I also went further in another attempt and ended up running into probability and options concepts again and again. After an initial HR step, I had technical interviews where I was treated like I needed to be strong in probability and option intuition. What really threw me off was how the conversation shifted: I was told that option theory was something they taught and wasn’t required, yet later I was grilled on it more directly in a separate interview. The people I met were friendly, but the focus felt inconsistent, and the experience left me questioning how aligned my understanding was with what they wanted to see.

Average Neutral London, England
I had a relatively short, structured process that started with an HR screen, then moved into a single technical interview, and finally a superday. The overall vibe was that the interviewers were thoughtful and easy to talk to, and throughout the process they felt willing to give feedback.
The technical portion centered on quantitative thinking, but it didn’t feel like it was trying to trick me with obscure material. It was more like proving I could reason through the basics. I remember introducing myself first, then answering questions connected to my background, and the final step included a brief brain teaser that carried very little weight compared to the rest.
