A few days after that, I had to schedule a technical screening. I sent my availability and, a week later, I got a message that none of the proposed times worked, so they asked me to fit into whatever slot the interviewer had. That technical screen ended up feeling misaligned: the person interviewing me was a data engineering lead who didn’t seem to know the specifics of the mobile-focused team described for the role. The questions were all about data challenges, and not a single question connected to mobile.
