The first step was an introductory call, and I was told I would need to complete a Six Sigma certification before I could move into the final technical round. When I asked where that certification should come from, the conversation redirected me to another contact connected to the consultancy, who insisted I complete it through a specific website that charged a fee.
After that, the “final technical interview” got rescheduled multiple times. When it finally happened, the panel joined after the delays and I met a final interviewer who asked mostly very basic questions. I felt like I handled the technical part smoothly, but there was no follow-up afterward. Overall, the process left me doubting whether the hiring steps were legitimate or whether Discover’s name was being misused by a third party, especially given the certification requirement and the panel not consistently joining when scheduled.
