My recruiter experience set a good tone for the rest of the process. I had the first round, and then about a week later I had a second round scheduled quickly. Throughout the process, the people on the interview side responded fast, and the timing felt efficient.

In the second round, I felt the interviewers were straightforward and willing to engage rather than make things confusing. The TA could answer questions about the company that I had, and the interviewers were also honest about how they viewed the company itself. That openness made it easier to have a real conversation instead of trying to guess what they wanted.

My process started with a mix of assessments before I ever got to live interviews. I had an online aptitude test covering general aptitude and English, followed by a psychometric assessment. Then there was an articulation round where I had to speak on an on-the-spot topic, and it was paced like a quick check of how clearly I could express myself.

The first interview round was more about marketing fundamentals and how I reasoned through examples. I introduced myself, then got questions like what I knew about marketing and performance marketing, and a comparison between traditional marketing and performance marketing. I also had to share marketing ideas from any company that fascinated me, plus a case-study-style question, a guesstimate, and even a few math-related calculations. The round also touched on things like my hobbies and any problem I’d solved.
