Difficult Positive Curitiba

My process moved through a fairly clear sequence: an intro recruiter call that included some technical screening, then a Codility-style challenge, followed by a collaborative technical interview. After that there was a discussion with an engineering director, and finally a culture-fit interview. Even though the steps were multiple, it felt organized and not chaotic, and I appreciated that each stage was its own checkpoint rather than random conversations.

I remember the early call focusing on my experience and getting a sense of how I thought before they asked any deeper questions. The coding challenge felt like a concrete filter, and the collaborative technical interview was more about how I worked with another engineer than just getting stuck on trivia. The director conversation leaned more into expectations and how I approached the job day to day, and the last round felt like a normal conversation about fit.

Easy Negative New Delhi

My interview journey felt oddly chaotic and demotivating. It began with an intro-and-get-to-know-you conversation, then moved into an assessment where I had to complete a task under a time limit. After that came a technical interview on a meeting platform where they asked about SQL and feature architecture.

The vibe was the thing that threw me off. The interviewers didn’t seem engaged; it felt like they were hunting for a specific answer rather than really listening to my reasoning. In some parts of the SQL questions, I tried approaches that could produce the same results by transforming the query, but it came across like they only wanted a particular “legitimate” method—almost like they were filtering for what they already expected. When I eventually reached further rounds, my confidence never really stabilized, because the tone made it hard to tell what actually mattered.
