My experience started with a take-home assignment that was supposed to take a few hours, but it came with pressure to turn it around fast. The recruiter asked me to complete it within the next few days. I finished the work and submitted it, and I did get confirmation from the manager acknowledging receipt—then it basically went silent. My follow-up messages didn’t get meaningful replies, and I never received the feedback or next steps that would have made the process feel real.

Later, the overall feel of the pipeline was similar in how it treated momentum: even when I completed what they asked for, the communication afterward didn’t match the effort. There was a separate instance where I was pushed through a video interview for a coding challenge, and then I was ghosted afterward. That same pattern showed up again when I submitted a take-home challenge and then repeatedly reached out for an update and whether a code review interview would be scheduled; instead I only received a generic “process ended” message and no substantive explanation.
