Recruiters were very kind and reassuring, but the process felt unusually demanding and time-consuming. They made it sound like AI use was acceptable if I was transparent about it, but the reality during the technical test was the opposite: I was pushed to limit my use of AI as much as possible.
That restriction changed how I approached the work, and it came with real cost in time. Even with my best effort, the test alone looked like it could take at least a dozen hours. I decided it wasn’t the right fit for me overall because the time and involvement asked of me didn’t feel proportionate to what I wanted from the process.

Easy Negative London, England
After a recruiter touchpoint, the process felt pretty standard until the technical part. I was given a challenge to work on, and then the silence started. I fully completed what I was asked to do, so I expected some kind of follow-up or at least feedback.
Instead, there was no response at all. About a month later I received an email letting me know they’d moved forward with someone else, with no real debrief. The lack of closure was the most frustrating part.
