At the beginning, communication felt professional, but the timeline quickly went sideways. After my initial interviews, I was told to expect a response in about ten days, and then nothing happened for well over a month. During that stretch I had to reach out myself to find out what was going on, only to get vague explanations and being redirected to another recruiter because the original contact was tied up elsewhere.
I also experienced a similar pattern after clearing internal technical rounds. HR had said they would schedule the client interview later, but after that step I heard nothing back. I followed up multiple times by phone and email, and still didn’t get a response.

The last phase of my process was the most painful part. After finishing the final round—one conversation that went all the way up to a CTO-level interview—I didn’t get any response. I tried to contact HR to get an update, but I didn’t receive replies, and the silence made the situation feel unresolved.
Even later, when I did get feedback, the decision didn’t feel aligned with the effort I’d already put in. I’d also seen a situation where the offer numbers came in significantly below what I asked for, and the response timing and communication around it felt surprising—almost like I was expected to be grateful rather than treated like a serious applicant.
