After the initial recruiter touchpoint, I was drawn into a technical screen where the discussion centered on Java Spring microservices and how I thought about distributed workflows using the SAGA pattern. What surprised me was that I was explicitly prompted around choreography versus orchestration, and the questions went deeper because of that distinction.
Later, the technical focus stayed consistent. I also went through a stage that emphasized multithreading and the Java Collections framework, and there was even a written test before an F2F round. That written portion covered a handful of Java questions plus some simple logical problems where I had to write code.
