Average Negative Pune

My process started with a fairly heavy technical sequence: four technical rounds plus a managerial round, and I also had a take-home assignment. The overall feeling was that the company wasn’t fully aligned on what it was looking for, and even after I cleared every round, I still got rejected.

What bothered me was the lack of closure around why I wasn’t moving forward. The explanation didn’t really land cleanly, and I was left with the impression that the decision might have been made long before my final interviews finished—like they could have already selected someone else in the background and were still running my process.

Negative London, England

The process started with a first chat with the internal recruiter that quickly looped me into the hiring manager conversation. After that, I was hit with a take-home exercise that felt brutal and very open-ended: I had to build a bunch of API endpoints using Redis.

Once that was done, I moved into a two-hour technical interview. It wasn’t just one topic either—I was expected to walk through my thinking and handle technical discussion after implementing something substantial in the assignment.
