After a recruiter call, my process stretched out with a week gap between rounds and ended up being seven rounds total including HR. What surprised me was how technical it stayed the whole way—every one of the rounds leaned into coding or engineering topics, with the only “pressure point” sounding like the final step. By the time I reached the last round with a VP of engineering, it felt noticeably harder than the rest.
The technical interviews themselves were very hands-on. I remember doing multiple coding-focused conversations that touched Python, including writing code and working through ideas around APIs. There was also a discussion-style technical round that went into framework development and architecture, and I was able to answer everything in a pretty complete way and keep moving forward. The flow felt structured until that VP conversation, which became more free-form and, honestly, felt disconnected from the job and even from what was on my resume. I also noticed how abruptly it ended—the interviewer disconnected as the timer hit the limit, and there wasn’t any real wrap-up or feedback.

Average Positive India
My interview started with an online coding screening where I had to answer three questions within a set time. It was straightforward enough that I didn’t expect it to be a hard stop, but I clearly wasn’t as prepared as I thought—I also remember there being multiple coding prompts paired with aptitude-style questions.
After that, the process moved into additional interview stages that were also completely online. There were multiple rounds following the initial screen, and the format stayed coding-heavy at the start, with interview sessions running as remote interviews rather than anything onsite.
