Easy Negative United States

My Convoy interview journey was relatively simple in structure but frustrating in timing and clarity around offers. I went through a technical screen and then a final round that was focused on technical work plus system debugging. The people interviewing me were pleasant and the conversations themselves didn’t feel hostile.

The process after the final round dragged on. I sat on a waitlist for extending offers, and I was kept waiting for over a month just to hear what would happen. Even though that was unusual, the bigger surprise came later: a couple of months after the final round, they rescinded almost everyone’s offers.

Difficult Positive United States

My loop started with a two-hour set of standard technical interviews where the questions felt straightforward and engaging. After that, I moved into a longer second round that bundled white-boarding with culture and deeper interview questions, and the total time there felt more intense—roughly three hours.

What stood out most for me was how much I liked the technical deep dive portion. I found the questions interesting and I felt like the interviewers were pushing for substance rather than just checking boxes. The part I didn’t enjoy was the white-boarding format over Zoom; it felt like I was losing context because I couldn’t use natural gestures and it didn’t feel as expressive as doing the same work in person.
