It really came down to how well I had the basics down, because once the process started, the emphasis was clearly on the domain they cared about—domain knowledge was treated like the real king of the interview. With the basics in place, the rounds didn’t feel like they were trying to overwhelm me.
What surprised me was how relaxed the process felt overall—there wasn’t a sense of constant pressure. At the same time, that ease didn’t mean it was trivial; if I hadn’t been solid on fundamentals, I wouldn’t have been able to close the deal. I ultimately didn’t get an offer, but I left with the impression that the process was straightforward as long as my baseline knowledge was strong and my explanations stayed grounded.
