After a recruiter intro, I ended up going through a fairly structured loop. I had an online coding assessment that was broken into four sections, and I had to make the unit tests for each section pass before I could move on. The experience felt iterative and a little pressure-y because progress depended on the tests, not just getting to a “working” demo.
Once the coding part was done, I went into the later rounds. My interview flow included behavior, a frontend coding round, and then a system design conversation. Coding-wise, I managed to complete the related tasks and I answered the system design questions. The behavioral part felt a bit odd to me—after I gave my initial responses, I didn’t get much follow-up.

Easy Positive United States
My first step was a straightforward online interview where I wrote a small React-based coding solution. It didn’t feel like a maze of abstract algorithms—it was very much about building a frontend UI behavior in React, and I found it manageable as long as I was comfortable with the framework.
As the process continued, the focus stayed tightly on React UI components. I had prompts where I needed to build a dropdown/select-style component—matching details like how the control should behave and how the UI should look. The tasks came with React boilerplate in at least one stage, and I moved through a pair of technical rounds that were similar in flavor to the earlier assessment.

Interview Structure & Flow
The interview process typically begins with a recruiter call, followed by a structured loop that includes a combination of coding assessments, behavioral interviews, and system design discussions, often in a virtual format. Candidates should expect multiple rounds that are heavily focused on practical frontend execution rather than abstract algorithms.

Frontend Coding Assessment
Candidates will face a coding assessment that emphasizes building frontend UI components, particularly in React, with a focus on component behavior and correctness. The assessment may include constraints like live coding with screensharing, which can add pressure to the experience.

Behavioral Interviews
Behavioral interviews are part of the process but may feel less engaging, with limited follow-up questions after initial responses. Candidates should prepare for a mix of cognitive and culture-fit questions, but the effectiveness of this portion may vary.

Technical Execution Focus
The interviews are heavily focused on technical execution in frontend development, with an emphasis on practical tasks rather than complex data structures or algorithms. Candidates should be ready to demonstrate clarity and correctness in their coding solutions.

Assessment Experience
Candidates may experience a range of assessment types, including take-home assignments and live coding sessions, with varying levels of perceived fairness and relevance to actual frontend work. Some candidates report feeling that the assessments did not accurately reflect day-to-day responsibilities.

Overall Difficulty & Outcome
The overall interview process is described as challenging, with high expectations for performance across all rounds. Many candidates report not receiving offers, often feeling that the evaluation standards were stringent and left them with uncertainty about their performance.
