Easy Negative Melbourne

A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and the first thing they asked was whether I could do a technical round on a Saturday. When my availability changed, they scheduled it for a weekday instead. The manager of the team was the interviewer, and on the call the recruiter and interviewer both joined—though the interviewer kept their camera off the whole time. It also started about ten minutes late because of a standup.

The interview itself used StackBlitz for writing Angular code, and the questions were pretty basic. I felt like I followed along and answered clearly, but after two days I didn’t get any feedback. I ended up contacting the recruiter’s manager, and that’s when I learned the feedback wasn’t positive. After that, they asked if I’d be willing to relocate to another city, which felt disconnected from the interview.

Average Negative Hyderābād

My experience left me confused more than anything. I felt like I performed well during the interviews, but I still wasn’t selected, which made it hard to understand what exactly they were optimizing for.

The other part of it was the overall vibe: the interview felt more focused on rejecting than on actually testing my skills. It didn’t help that the process seemed to waste time around the scheduling and steps, which added to the uncertainty.
