An anchor bottler for US-based The Coca-Cola Company, Coca-Cola FEMSA is the #1 independent Coke bottler in the world. It produces, markets, and distributes soft drinks, such as Coca-Cola, Fanta, and Sprite, as well as water, juice, iced tea, milk, and other dairy products. However, more than 60% of its sales are generated from the Coca-Cola brand. Coca-Cola FEMSA also distributes its products across Central America, Columbia, Venezuela, and parts of Argentina and Brazil. Fomento Económico Mexicano owns almost 55% of the bottler; the Coca-Cola Company owns more than 30%.
