Difficult Positive United States

I had a recruiter conversation early on that set a good tone. My recruiter was very communicative and even offered feedback, which I hadn’t seen from other companies.

The technical interviews were classic LeetCode-style coding. Each one was an hour and started with behavioral, then moved into two coding questions. The difficulty felt like easier mediums up through medium overall, but I still got tripped up because I made an assumption about how hard a question was. I tried to optimize too early, and I didn’t manage to finish typing out the solution in time. I also remember the interviewer asking whether there was a way to optimize when the solution was already optimal in terms of time and space, and I didn’t really get confirmation during the interview about whether my direction was exactly what they expected.
