What stood out most wasn’t the content of the interviews—it was how hard it was to get logistics handled. I’d try to coordinate scheduling and there would be huge gaps where the contact wouldn’t reply for weeks. I’d eventually get a prewritten message that was basically just to book time, only for the appointment to get rescheduled again.

In my case, I also had a meeting booked with an engineering manager, and then just a few hours before it was supposed to start I got a cancellation email. After that, I didn’t hear anything for two weeks, even when I reached out to remind them and ask for updates.
